One experience with CDV and we were hooked!

Brian gave me my choice of a cooking course for Christmas 2008. In my Internet search for classes I landed on CDV. The pictures of people having a great time, the stories that described available tours and the exciting itineraries drew me to conclude “I found it!” A phone call to Michael sealed the deal.
We were sure that we would have to save up for a couple of years before we could afford such an amazing trip. The fact that it was described as all-inclusive seemed too good to be true. However, from the moment we met them at the Rome airport to the day we said a tearful farewell, CDV covered every meal, every bottle of wine (of which there were many!) and entry to every attraction. There were no surprises, no hidden charges and the price per person was perfectly manageable.
Another aspect that surprised us was the feeling of being a guest, not a client. Our small group of 12 people quickly bonded, laughing, dancing, eating and traveling as a pack. This unique approach to entertaining us as “family” really resonated with us. We ended our week with a dozen new friends, many of whom we have seen again over the years.
When we signed the guest book after our first tour I remember writing “we loved this adventure and we’ll be back, again and again”. So here we are today, packing for our eleventh tour with the same thrill of expectation we always enjoy with our Italian Family.
