Full disclosure: this was my third trip to Italy with CDV after having done Soriano in 2012 and Barolo in 2015. We couldn't wait to do the Sicily tour on the beautiful Egadi island of Favignana, and as usual, CDV far surpassed my expectations! From early morning fishing adventures to lazy afternoons on the beach, from cooking classes to gourmet meals (in some of the most unexpected places!), I would go back tomorrow if I could! Rocky, Alyssa, and Sam did a fantastic job as the CDV hosts, and the Sicily team - Ivano, Adelina, Graziella, Giovana, Michele, and Rosario (just to name a few) - made us feel so welcome! With Ivan's friends popping in for meals, we felt that we were truly a part of the local community. And have I mentioned the water? The bluest, clearest, most beautiful water for swimming that I have ever seen! I can't wait for my next CDV adventure! :)
