So many highlights of this trip to gush about! The warm and welcoming family of CDV made this trip very special. Every detail carefully planned and executed. Knowing that you have someone who lives in the area to be your host gives you a great peace of mind . I also really appreciate how easy it is to arrive at each destination just where you need to be. When you are done you are picked up with no worries.
All the excursions feel like visiting friends, because they usually are! We had wonderful food, wine and cooking classes. I must say though , the Olive harvest was definitely a highlight. I brought my can home like precious cargo. The pottery lesson was definitely a kick we laughed a lot.
It’s funny how after spending only a week with our new Italian friends it was hard to say Arrivederci.
