In a large skillet, saute the sliced onion in the butter
Remove the sausage meat from the casing and crumble into the skillet
When the sausage meat is sizzling, add the vodka and allow it to evaporate.
Add salt and pepper.
When sausage meat is cooked, add the cream and stir until it is thickened.
At this point, the cooked and drained pasta will be added to the skillet and over low heat, toss well until the pasta is coated with the sauce
Serve warm
