“Cooking in Paradise on the Amalfi Coast”, July 7-14 2018, was outstanding ....absolutely the best vacation yet! The Villa Erema di San Francesco with its extraordinary views and infinity pool was a perfect home away from home. The group size of 17 was ideal. By midweek this group of strangers felt like family.
CDV created a wonderful family atmosphere filled with energy, laughter, music, great food and wine. Claudia, Filomena, Peppe, Vittorio, Antonio and their extended family were amazing. They welcomed us to the villa, conducted the cooking classes, prepared wonderful meals when we ate at the villa and celebrated special occasions creatively. We especially appreciated how they shared their love and knowledge of Minori and the region.
Sophie, our enthusiastic and well organized host, superbly facilitated the entire experience.
The excursions by bus & boat were great and nicely balanced the villa cooking sessions. The visit to the family vineyard "Tenuta San Francesco", further emphasized family, culture and heritage, as well as sharing wonderful wine and food.
Keep up the great work...we hope to return for a third CDV experience.
