We operate as a very 21st century company, meaning that our office is where any of us is at any given time. None of us "clocks in" at an office building somewhere! So when you contact us, the person on the other end may be anywhere from Texas to Florida, or at the villa in Italy, harvesting some grapes in Tuscany, or even on a fishing boat in Sicily! Because of this, the most efficient way to communicate is by digital means. That is, through email or our Slack channel. But if you call us, we still use phones, too :-).

Your email will be automatically sent to several people, and even if we are out of the office, we are regularly monitoring our wireless devices. Important: We do not operate a traditional office. We are all working, wherever we are, so our phones are programmed to forward to us all over the world. That means that when you call our main number, you may get someone that is in the Florida office, or we may be answering you from one of the locations in Italy. One of us even once answered a call into the main number on a cell phone from atop a camel in the Sahara dessert!
When to Call Us (Hours)
Office hours are a bit tricky for us because of the nature of what we do, especially when you also add that our guests come from all over the world in various time zones, so here is a general guide:
Between November and April
During this time, most of us are in the United States. We generally keep office hours. If we don't answer, just leave a message letting us know a good time to return your call based on the hours below, and someone will get back to you very quickly.

Between May and October
During this period, we are in full season, so most of us are in Italy. Calling the main number will forward to us in Italy, but please consider the time zone. While we are in Italy, we are almost always on the move, so there is a good chance that you will need to leave a message and have us return your call. If this is the case, leave a message telling us what a good time to call would be based on the hours below, and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

But what is your actual address? Yes, we get this often... and although we are a very digitally minded company, we also do have physical addresses both in the US and Italy. Who is Splendido Vacations?
Culture Discovery Vacations is a company based in the U.S.A. In order to operate in Italy, you must have an Italian company with a valid Italian Tax ID number and license to operate as an incoming tour operator. Splendido Vacations is a company formed by members of the Culture Discovery Vacations team specifically for this purpose. Splendido exists to handle all of CDV's Italian in-country operations and contracts and staffing, as well as all of our vacation extensions.
