The Culinary Vacation in Portugal was truly an immersive experience. It was wonderful to be welcomed into family homes to learn how to prepare delicious meals and to meet local artisans and vintners for hands-on activities including grape-stomping, pastry classes, and having a turn at a potter’s wheel.
We were fortunate to have pleasant weather the entire week to enjoy the itinerary that was well thought out and well organized. Ines was a fantastic host and it was nice to see familiar CDV folks to reconnect; celebrating Michael’s birthday at the farewell dinner was the perfect ending to a special week.
Sharing this experience with a great group of friendly people made this a unique, fun, and enriching adventure.
