The Culture Discovery Vacation week far exceeded my already high expectations. The little town of Soriano is so charming and easy to get lulled into the Italian way of life .... going to the market for food in the morning; cappucino and pastry; beautiful countryside... but then CDV takes you to other cities that make each one seem better than the last. Its the perfect blend of experiencing authentic italy with the family focus; cooking wonderful meals and drinking great wine; exploring amazing towns and learning more of the culture and history. An adventure every day.
If you have a passion for great food (either cooking or just eating great food); love wine; spending time with interesting people; visiting beautiful cities; and if you'd find it interesting to meet with the owner of a few wineries and an olive mill - this is the trip for you. For me one of the highlights was making homemade pasta with an amazing bolognese sauce!
