What could be better? A week in small town Italy (Soriano), staying in a beautiful little apartment overlooking the piazza (Caterina), learning to cook Italian food in a gorgeous Villa just outside Soriano with the incredible Carla, Katia and Rosario, touring around in comfy bus with the sweetest driver (Sergio) who was a master at the twisty, windy roads, eating and drinking at wonderful places, and meeting an incredible group of people??? Oh and Rocky, Charlie and Linda (our guides) - you guys were 'super cool', super fun and brought the whole thing together into an unforgettable experience that was the perfect end to my five weeks in Italy. Rocky you rock! From my first contact with you I was blown away. It was like chatting with a friend as you spent a month helping me put my trip together. You totally went above and beyond! For anyone hesitating to join one of these wonderful week long Italian immersion weeks on your own don't hesitate. Our whole group almost instantly bonded and we were a super group of fun and goofy people. Really! I felt like I was travelling with a group of friends and in fact have made some super new friends who I will travel with again. So thanks to all who made my week one of my all time favourite holidays. So what could be better? Nothing except maybe doing another one in a different small town!!
