My husband and I spent the week of May 17, 2014 with the CDV family at Soriano. We did a lot of research & had a good idea what to expect....and frankly we had very high expectations. We are happy to say that our expectations were not just met but far exceeded. It is important to note that this is not a vacation for everyone. You are integrated into small town Italian life with 16 strangers for 12 to 15 hours per day. But, we would not have had it any other way. The cooking classes at the farmhouse were tons of fun.....the tours to medieval Tuscan/Umbria villages were perfect & we were truly treated like family. We have made fantastic new friends & have experiences we will talk about for the rest of our lives. We are already evaluating which of the CDV tours we take next
