Our group of 20 close friends just returned from a CDV cooking vacation in Soriano, Italy, and to say it was perfect would be an understatement. My wife and I stayed in a wonderful fourth-floor apartment that featured two spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Having an elevator was a huge plus for convenience.
What truly sets this experience apart is the host team. Tomas and Valentina, along with the incredible Villa crew, treated us like family. Their warmth, energy, and dedication ensured that everything ran smoothly and that everyone in our group felt completely taken care of.
The culinary side of the vacation was spectacular. We participated in three fantastic, hands-on cooking classes where we learned the secrets behind authentic Panzanella, fresh ricotta, homemade ravioli, and perfect Italian pizza. The kitchen environment was lively, educational, and incredibly fun. The hospitality was exceptionally generous—we enjoyed unlimited wine, perfectly mixed Aperol Spritzes, and classic Negronis throughout our stay.
CDV curated an incredible itinerary that gave us a true taste of the region. Our daily excursions took us through some of the most beautiful and historic towns in Italy, including Orvieto, Pitigliano, Sorano, Viterbo, Montalcino, Montepulciano, and Assisi. Each stop was rich with culture, stunning views, and unforgettable memories.
Experiencing the beauty, food, and culture of Italy is amazing on its own, but being able to share it all seamlessly with twenty of our closest friends made it truly magical. CDV created the perfect environment for us to bond, laugh, and indulge without a single worry. Thank you to the entire team for an absolutely flawless vacation. We will absolutely be back!
