The perfect family vacation
I was traveling with my son and daughter-in-law, who were celebrating a special wedding anniversary. Our “family” expanded as the week progressed.

From the moment we met our Lorenzo , John Franco and our fellow travelers the tone was set for a wonderful stress free adventure. I had been to Tuscany before and even stayed at the same hotel but had never been on a culinary vacation. The experience was all I expected and more. The hospitality of each of the individuals we visited was warm and genuine. One can appreciate the beauty of the land spend the richness of the vineyards and farms but meeting locals share their family’s history and daily lives made me appreciate them even more. As a special bonus, on the two days when there was “some free time” Lorenzo, our guide took several of us on hikes. I willl long remember the people we met as well as the cooking classes, laughs on the bus and wonderful wine and food we tasted.
