What an unbelievable week

I generally don’t write reviews but this trip was so spectacular I felt I had to. Words cannot describe what a fantastic week it was. It was amazing to live amongst the people of Soriano, eating breakfast at the local piazza bar, the great sightseeing, terrific food and the fun, hands on cooking classes. When a day ended I thought it could not get any better. I was consistently proven wrong when the next day rolled around.
The only thing that outdoes the touring and cooking is the phenomenal staff CDV put together. The tour leaders (Spartaco and Ian) did a truly magnificent job making sure everybody felt comfortable and at ease while enjoying the sightseeing and culture of Tuscany. Carla and Rita not only taught us how to cook some classic family recipes but also gave us quite a show. Not to be outdone Sergio drove the bus around the curves and hills of Tuscany better than any NASCAR driver could. To sum it up the best thing about CDV are its’ people/family. In what other company do the owner and his family open their house to their guests.
No other tour I have ever gone on can be mentioned in the same breath as CDV. CDV is simply the best.
